When John Morris – Purchasing Manager of Apex Doors Ltd. In Luton, needed to store a new type of sectional door panel, he approached Warehouse & Industrial Developments Ltd. to advise him, and design a racking system to suit his requirements.

Whilst the product to be stored was relatively light, it also needed to be stored on a type of rack, which did not damage the packs as they were lowered on to the arms.

Warehouse & Industrial Developments Ltd. flush top arm was suggested to Apex Doors Ltd., as there is no fixing plate or bolts protruding above the arm top surface.

Apex Doors Ltd. advised Warehouse & Industrial Ltd. of their requirements and within three days of the initial enquiry, an order was placed.

The job was scheduled for delivery within three weeks and installation was completed four days from the delivery of materials to site.

This shows the flush top system, which allows product to be loaded without damage from protruding plate and bolts.
The bolted base system which cuts down on transport costs and allows for much easier handling during manufacture and installation.
